The day that Garrett has been anticipating finally arrived yesterday! It was his birthday! It is so hard to believe that he is 5 years old! I think he had a pretty good day! To start the morning, Ethan gave him his present early ~ a monster truck that Garrett has been longing for! He then went to school and got to be the center of attention there! Grandma took a half day off work so that she could pick him up from school......they went out to lunch and did who knows what! We had a small family party then last evening! It was a bitter sweet day, kind of sentimental at times when I thought too hard about it! Enjoy the pictures :)

Ethan enjoy all of the hoopla surrounding the day! He loved wearing Garrett's "crown" from school!
But his favorite part was eating Garrett's cake!!

Hi Shawn: I wanted to call and tell Garrett Happy B-day but do not know Kurt's work schedule. I enjoy looking at ally your pictures and hope to see lots more. I did not know Ethan and Papa were buds. I am like you I can not believe Garrett is 5 years old! Love Aunt Randi
