~* Good-bye NuRsErY *~

It is official ~ my baby is growing up and insisting on a "big boy" room! He has been in a big boy bed since September (which was waaaay too early for him) but he now wants "trakers" a.k.a. John Deere Tractors in his room! Stay tuned for the transformation ~ for now I say good-bye to the nursery that I loved so much!

~* WaLLy got a Haircut! *~

OK, who's great idea was it to get a long-haired cat anyways? Oh, that is right, it was ME! I begged Kurt to let me get Ava! He warned me more than once that the hair would be a problem ~ but I thought I knew better! HA! Well, needless to say Wally's hair became a matted mess lately! He loves to go outside and we let him. The breeder did warn me that Himalayan's should not go out because of their hair, but he loves to chase the birds and whatever else he can find! SO the end result, Wally had to get shaved! His belly was so matted it was TERRIBLE! I never understood why it was so expensive for cats to get groomed, but let me tell you the groomer earned every dollar that I paid her! It was a wild experience to say the least!

She left him a little "puff" at the end of his tail ~ she called it a "lion" cut *****
Look, I think I really am his mother ~ we have the same eyes!
Wally was not a happy camper when I brought him home!
He was not liking the kids admiring his "new do!"
The groomer warned me to have the kids not laugh at him ~ she said that cats can sense if you are making fun of them and to be spiteful he would poop all over the house! I was very proud of the boys! Both of them told him how handsome he looked ;)

~* TrULy Blessed! *~

We have had such a memorable past month getting ready for Easter! Kurt and I took the boys to a bunny breakfast, which was so much fun! Ethan was scared to death of the bunny! Go figure ~ He loved looking for eggs, but would have nothing to do with sitting on the bunny's lap!

Anyone recognize this place? This is the same place that Kurt and I had our wedding reception 12 years ago!

Ethan staying far away from the bunny, waving good-bye.......

The next stop ....... SPLASH LAGOON! Thank you to all of my aunts ~ Connie, Judy, Randi and Susan for the gift cards at Christmas! We took full advantage of them and spent the night last week! Garrett's favorite part is staying in the hotel room. He would have stayed in the room the entire time if I had let him! We had a lot of fun and can't wait to go back!

Garrett practicing his swimming techniques he has learned at swimming class!
Ethan not real sure that he wants to go down the slide ~ he didn't have a choice after Garrett gave him a push down ........ My 2 favorite girls in the world that are growing up all too fast! and their friend Erin ~
I FOUND MY BASKET! FINALLY!

Ethan LOVES John Deere right now and we are in the process of doing his room in the John Deere theme!

Although I have been missing in action on this blog ~ our family continues to make memories together! I feel so blessed to have 2 healthy, amazing boys and a husband that is a wonderful father!
