OK, who's great idea was it to get a long-haired cat anyways? Oh, that is right, it was ME! I begged Kurt to let me get Ava! He warned me more than once that the hair would be a problem ~ but I thought I knew better! HA! Well, needless to say Wally's hair became a matted mess lately! He loves to go outside and we let him. The breeder did warn me that Himalayan's should not go out because of their hair, but he loves to chase the birds and whatever else he can find! SO the end result, Wally had to get shaved! His belly was so matted it was TERRIBLE! I never understood why it was so expensive for cats to get groomed, but let me tell you the groomer earned every dollar that I paid her! It was a wild experience to say the least!
She left him a little "puff" at the end of his tail ~ she called it a "lion" cut *****

Look, I think I really am his mother ~ we have the same eyes!

Wally was not a happy camper when I brought him home!

He was not liking the kids admiring his "new do!"

The groomer warned me to have the kids not laugh at him ~ she said that cats can sense if you are making fun of them and to be spiteful he would poop all over the house! I was very proud of the boys! Both of them told him how handsome he looked ;)
