I don't even know how to begin this post.......my heart is filled with sadness! This past week has been terrible for my family as we had to say good-bye to my grandma! She was a person that was many things to many people. To me, she was not only Grandma, but someone who instilled values, love and friendship into me!

Grandma....your days here changed everything! Your missed here and will always be! But you left here us a great gift! Our hearts will ache to come home with you!

Both of my boys were very fond and deeply attached to "Grandma Rocky"! Garrett completely does not understand the true meaning of death. Our conversation went a bit like this:

Garrett: Did Rocky die?
Me: I don't like to say that she died.....
Garrett: Well, what happened then?
Me: She went to live with Jesus.....
Garrett: Well, when is she going to come back and live with us?
Me: She isn't. She is going to stay with Jesus and live with him forever.
Garrett: When will we see her again?
Me: When we go live with Jesus we will get to hug her and kiss her and she will read to you again.
Garrett: Ok...Jesus will take care of her won't he?
Me: Yes!

We spoke to her before bed tonight.............

Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.....
Grandma Rocky we will keep you in our hearts....
Twinkle Twinkle Little Star......
We will meet you where you are!

Until then,
WE LOVE YOU!

I know she heard us!

~* Wagon Trails....*~

Today we headed over to Youngstown to take the kids to Wagon Trails Safari.....we try to make a trip there every year! It is a great place and the kids love it! Ethan wasn't too sure most of the time today! He thought just maybe the animals would bite his fingers off! My grandma even went with us today! It was a fun time! Enjoy the slide show of all the pictures....I am trying to figure out how to put pictures on this blog in a more timely manner! It always takes forever to upload them! IF anyone knows a faster way, PLEASE let me know!

Enjoy!
This was suppose to upload as a movie?? Will work on it tomorrow....for now, I am off to bed;o)

On Sunday, Kurt and I took the boys fishing out in the boat for the first time at Lake Wilhelm! It was a success....meaning that the boys liked it! We didn't catch too many fish, actually Kurt caught them all! Garrett did most of the reeling in! Garrett was anxious or should I say "extremely nervous" about going out on the water and it took him quite awhile to feel comfortable with what was going on, but he did well after we were out for a bit! Ethan LOVED it! He wasn't a bit aprehensive! We have been potty training and he thought it was GREAT to pee over the side of the boat! It was SO HOT! The first HOT day of the summer and we decided to go out on the water! It was something fun to do! Enjoy the pictures!

The first catch of the day.....

Garrett driving the boat.................

Ethan being Ethan...........all smiles! With the BINK, of course!

Ethan was scared to hold the fish by himself ;o)

It was SO HOT.....Garrett's hair was drenched!

Ethan was WIPED-OUT! Between the heat and the excitement, he was exhausted!

~ HaPpY Birthday Grandma! ~

Today was a special day! My Grandma D. turned 84! She doesn't look or act a day over 49! The boys and I were in charge of getting a cake and Garrett would just not have it buying one! He insisted that we make one....so off we went to Walmart to get a cake mix and icing! We had a good time making and decorating it! And of course, Grandma LOVES Spongebob, LOL!

We went to dinner at Primo Barone's and then went to my mom and dad's to celebrate with cake and ice cream! Unfortunately the girls weren't there.....their uncle is home, so they are doing much catching up with him! We enjoyed it though! Her life is very much worth celebrating! She is a woman with a huge heart, a kind personality and a lively spirit!

Words cannot express what you mean to me, Grandma! I love you! It is days like today that I miss grandpa the most! The way the boys adore you.......I KNOW they would have LOVED PAPA D!
I have often taken for granted how blessed I have been to have grandparents in my life! And to have my boys know my 2 grandmothers! How blessed is that? My other grandma is still struggling to beat the odds! She has come down with pnemonia and is losing blood.....please remember her in your prayers! She means the world to me too, as you all know!

~* A trip to Pymatuning *~

We took a trip over to Pymatuning Spillway tonight for something to do! What a nice day it was to go over there! We haven't been there since last year and Ethan wasn't old enough to know what was going on! This year, HE LOVED IT! He was AMAZED at all the fish! His expressions were priceless! It takes very little to thrill Ethan!

After we had enough of feeding the carp, we ate dinner at the Spillway Inn, which was delicious! We had a great night of fun!
