~* A Fun Filled Day! *~

We had a very fun filled day today! We started the day out by going to Erie and making a stop at Chuck E. Cheese.......of course my wonderful mother stayed with the kiddos while I made a few shopping stops! While shopping at Toys R Us, I happened upon some Christmas clearance items, which is always fun! Garrett is so into the Cars movie right now, every waking moment is spent playing with these cars! Well, in the Christmas section they had a "gingerbread house kit" that makes into a Lightning McQueen car for $1.30 !! I don't know what I was thinking, but I purchased all they had left as some of Garrett's friends are into Cars as well (their parents will love me for this!) We made ours tonight and I must say I think it looks pretty good! Garrett was a little disappointed, he felt that we needed it to look exactly like the box, but hey he is lucky it turned out like it did! We ended up missing some candies for it.......Ethan enjoyed eating them while we were busy icing it! aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh .......... Have a great week!

~* We moved to ALaSkA! *~

I feel like we have moved ..... to ALASKA! It has not stopped snowing ~ and from what they say it is going to continue snowing until tomorrow! We have so much snow! There for a couple days it was too cold to snow, but wow when it warmed up, it let us have it! I took a trip to Pittsburgh shopping with a friend yesterday and they don't have half the snow that we have! I was amazed! They must have gotten some overnight because Jessica said she was having trouble getting to her house! Here is hoping she made it :)

Today was a day that we stayed in and stayed warm.....we never even got dressed :) With that in mind, the boys didn't get to sport their STEELERS attire so we had a special treat for the game instead, STEELERS CUPCAKES ........Garrett thought that was much better than getting his jersey on!

We neglected to put our patio furniture away.......it shows the true amount of snow that we have gotten! There is over 2 feet of snow on this table! Likewise, there is over 2 feet of snow on the patio! Grandma, be glad you are in Florida!

~* InSiDe FuN! *~

More bath pictures tonight....it was too cold to go outside and both boys had a ton of energy so we broke out the bath "foam" and had a good time :) Garrett said he needed "a shave" on his face! Goodness, I am not ready for those days!

Frigid cold temperatures are on their way they say! I hope and pray they don't cancel any more school days! I remember last year how terrible it was to not have an Easter vacation :( 2 hour delays would be nice the rest of the week ~ I still have to be there on time, however it is nice to have 2 extra hours in the morning to get stuff done!

~* More FuN in the SnOw! *~

Well, the snow finally stopped! I managed to make my way to Walmart this morning, but wow! the roads were still terrible! I hope they get them cleaned up by tomorrow! We stayed in most of the day, but did manage to get out a bit to play in the snow some more! Enjoy the pictures:)

Kurt built a ramp for Garrett to "jump", he thought this was GREAT!

~* SnOw, SnOw & More SnOw !*~

We are officially snowed in I think :) It has snowed NONSTOP all day here! and it keeps coming! We didn't do too much today, however we did manage to go outside and play a couple of times! Garrett doesn't last too long, crying that he is cold! Ethan is a completely different story! If it was his choice, he would stay out there all day! He is going to be Kurt's hunting buddy I assume! Garrett is too much like me ~ he doesn't like to be cold!

We had the driveway plowed this a.m. and by noon you couldn't even tell it was plowed!........aaaaahhhhhhhhhhh hopefully he will come back tomorrow and do it again when the snow stops falling! HOPEFULLY the snow stops falling so we don't miss anymore school! The days are starting to add up! Enjoy the pictures ~ Grandma, I tried to get a shot of the house so you could appreciate just how much snow we have :) I can't wait to soak up some of that sun in a couple of weeks !!

~* HaPpY New Year 2009 *~

Happy New Year! Time has really flown by....hard to believe that we are back to the routine tomorrow! Vacation has come and gone...I can't lie ~ I am glad that our house will be back into a normal routine, things run more smoothly here when we are all on a schedule! I am excited to go back to work and hear the kids tell about their Christmas presents! Tomorrow Garrett will have his Christmas party at school since school was cancelled on the day of his party :) He is so excited for that! He is just plain excited to go back to school!

I had high hopes for the 12 days that I had off, needless to say I didn't do much of anything! I did manage to spend a day with a friend that I taught with in Warren and go out one night with my friends from work, but other than that I got nothing accomplished~ oh well, there is always another day!

One goal I did have was to get the boys' pictures taken! That in itself is a CHORE! We tried about 2 weeks ago and it was a complete disaster! We went to Sears....needless to say Garrett left there screaming and I was in tears myself as was my mother! aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh I will NEVER go there again! So today, I set out to torture myself again:) We headed down to Cranberry Township where a friend of a friend takes pictures ~ it was by far one of the most pleasant experiences I ever had with getting pictures taken in a studio setting! Our friend Sly spoiled me with his "in-home" studio and I have been boycotting since he went on STRIKE! I was feeling guilty because poor Ethan hasn't had his pictures done since Sly did his 1st birthday photos!(which are hard to top!) So anyways.....enjoy the picture overload! I was thrilled with them:)
